Earth Links

This week's episode of Top Design Season 2 at the local cable channel was timely for Earth Day with their green office challenge. Sadly, my favorite "character" Wisit got eliminated (that opera number must be the best reality TV exit ever aired in my book). But it was also this episode that introduced me to the guest judge, American eco-lifestyle expert and designer Danny Seo.

After a few clicks from google, I also learned Danny and I are not only passionate about same cause, we also share the same b-earthday! Check out his blog here.

that you can save the world
without sacrificing style."

As a belated Earth Day effort, am sharing two other websites from my link list.

One is Re-Nest: Abundant Design For Green Homes - from the same authors as apartmenttherapy.com, one of my main interior design inspiration sources.

Being green need not be blah. Trash chic is trés chic.

Along the same vein is Curbly: DIY Design Community, which features more of DIY projects.

A friend wrote on my Facebook page: "There's a reason why you celebrate the same birthday as Mommy Earth." That couldn't be any more true. I've been a fan of recycling ever since I can remember but before the environmental awareness kicked in, I always thought of it as just me being a cheapskate. Who knows, the next green link on my list could be my own!

Belated Happy Earth Day everyone.
